To keep your body healthy, don’t be a picky eater!
Last year the Danone Institute of Japan conducted a survey regarding children’s health and nutrition. As a result, many parents noted “likes and dislikes” and “imbalanced nutrition” as their greatest concern. Responding to the results, we have developed this leaflet to assist children to understand the importance of a balanced diet and dairy products.
Children learn about three elements of nutrition while they enjoy following a board game to find a food belonging to each nutrient group such as the red group, yellow group or green group.
Foods belonging to the red group are used for strengthening the blood and bones which make you grow bigger.
Foods belonging to the yellow group provide you with energy.
Foods belonging to the green group help improve your health and stop you getting colds.
